JUST A TIDBIT
Aramark laborers, who had put in a tremendous work effort, had also enjoyed this generosity. Our GM said in one of his many dinner speeches that this is what we, Aramark, are all about.
The audit committee apparently found that Aramark charged our Village $1,700 for this food and beverage. As our GM said, that’s what they’re all about.

Gee, thanks Larry and ARAMARK. Great to have you here! NOT.
enough said!
Why doesnt someone just show Aramark the audit findings.. PLEASE!
True or False?
Ask Mary Steffensen just to hear her answer.
How do charges like this get by without any open meeting comment from the Treasurer?
Maybe Son-in-law can do this magic while LD is telling us all, TO OUR FACES, that Aaramark is providing this as a SERVICE! Frankly, the meals at the H.E.B./Salvation Army site in P.I. were better with 2 exceptions and those two were mainly cooked, on their own, by LIV staff! The best mystery is the case of the Missing Hamburgers! Come On M.S., you must have known about the charge, when/who/how was it paid? I do not recall seeing it on any of the "financial" reports!!!
I think I'm going to be sick!
HOLY CRAP! this place is IMPLODING and it's only getting WORSE, not better.
Yeh, knew that hurricane food charge was gonna happen, now wondering if LIV was charged for the Aramark inspector/architect who was here to "assist" after the hurricane. Any insight on that, Mr GM? Or do we need to get the Audit Committee involve in this too?
Missing Hamburgers? Can you please elaborate for those of us who aren't already aware of this mystery? Thanks!
re: "The audit committee apparently found that Aramark charged our Village $1,700..."
Aramark can only charge for items which are approved to be charged by its site manager, and then only to the extent allowed by its contract with the client (LIV). Perhaps LIV should contest and refuse payment for this, or if it's already been paid by LIV, demand a refund.
RE:wondering if LIV was charged for the Aramark inspector/architect who was here to "assist"
That my friends cost our Village $4,100.
WHAT?? $4100 charge for what was supposed to be ARAMARK guy helping out in the aftermath of hurricane Dolly?? Plus $1700 for hurricane dinners?
Something ain't right about this...
Sure is a lot of "crap" coming out on this blog right before election time.
Always remember, there are two sides to every story. On this blog you get one side. I will not tell you which one to believe. In fact, the answer always lies somewhere inbetween. Just make sure you HEAR both stories before you decide what to believe and who to vote for!

Its always darkest before the Dawn! It will get better. Its been a hard road. pb, rp, lm, and all their company will be a part of a dark pass. What a way to be remembered. It was worht it though.
I wouldnt mind Aramark out also.
RV always knew what he was talking about. Just didnt seem to have a better answer.
Voss, your time has come. Take a bow! I am now a believer.
I have always supported ARAMARK until now. If we have to get rid of them to get rid of Larry, then so be it. We have sent the information about the Larry/Les connection to ARAMARK. Had to since our president refused and the hands of the good people on the Board were tied up with the Rule 11 agreement. We shall see how they react. Larry, I'd start packing. Need boxes?
Re: "the hands of the good people on the Board were tied up with the Rule 11 agreement."
That's funny right there, I don't care WHO you are!
Good people who "slam" other good people? Can anyone say, "Oxymoron?"
Re: We have sent the information about the Larry/Les connection to ARAMARK.
Did you send the tires/Aramark credit card fiasco also?
who are the WE people that sent the info to Aramark please?
Aramark knows exactly who Larry is and who Les is. They also know exactly what took place with the wheels and tires and the paint job. Everyone seems to forget that JP and RH were accusing him of using our funds to pay for the paint job, too. But the main point is, they know how much money they have saved us in many situations, with the help of one of their employees (who just happens to be our GM) and they ALSO know that most of us are appreciative of them and him and are happy with what we've received for a fee that could have been much more.
Get a grip, you are talking to yourselves and talking each other up but no one else is buying it.
What exactly have we recieved for free?? You are so so sick. I feel sorry for you if you can't see the truth.
Missing Hamburgers: One of the "gourmet" meals sent to our assistance from Aaramark was to be a Hot Dog/Hamburger feed. Lo and Behold when the day came, Hot Dogs but NO Hamburgers! Maybe someone has the answer? Went to H.E.B. and got great burgers and so far NO billing as showed up!
So, when it all comes around, LIV residents pay for anything 'ARAMARK' does for us like:
Food after Dolly
Food before the annual meeting
If the boards hands are tied when it comes to the gm,
That means we cant do anything about our situation. RIGHT?
Can we rectify the situation after the voting?
Can we then fire the gm?
And what happens.... the new board steps in and is in charge till we get a new manager?
Does Aramark send a new gm?
Can we hire our own manager and still have Aramark on the payroll?
Lot of questions I know! Can someone please answer a few of them? RH doesn't answer any emails.
When all this information is past on to Larry's boss... Aramark will not want us anyone. LIV is just a speck ,a tiny little speck in the multi billion $$$ industry of ARAMARK.
The gm will leave and take Aramark with him.. Then we will be a fine fix. Does that make you happy?
Just like they did when we got rid of Dave Fletcher? Get your priorities right. If Aramark wants to unload a manager that is untruthful on our Village and think that's good for us, we should reconsider them. Don't be afraid, change works out when it happens. That is the way of life.
