HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?The gloves seemed to have come off and the hits just keep on coming from certain inimical people in this small petition group.
We had an Aramark employee who represented himself as head of security and said he was instructed to delivered large envelopes containing documents. These documents described the court proceedings of a long ago disconsolate divorce and a nobody’s business illness that our newly elected director Jim Peterson had experienced. This Aramark employee who again I must say described himself as security, visited every director’s home and wanted signatures for these packets of trash. If they were not at home, they somehow were placed in the director’s SECURED mail box. This harridan who drilled the Aramark employee conveniently failed to give him HER name, but from his description it's very obvious who SHE was.
The cover letter to the directors said” these court documents are public information. The responsibility lies upon those who hold the position of the board of director to protect the LIV owners.” That’s all fine and well, but the intent for this malicious attack on Director Peterson's past personal troubles and physical problems goes way beyond the conduct we owners should tolerate in our Village.
Our board president sternly asked our general manager as to who authorized this employee to deliver such documents; the reply he received was simply, not me because I was in Harlingen. Our general manager did go on to say it is not uncommon that these employees are used to deliver paperwork and that in his opinion since this was public information, it was not slanderous.
WHAT ACTION DO YOU FELL SHOULD BE TAKEN?

JP if you are reading this blog you hang there. You are gaining support and I know the board is behind you. Turn a deaf ear. Your heart has always been for LIV. Its been a better place with all your efforts. Please just ignore the comments be the better person!
This malicious behavior towards the certain members of our Board is really aggravating. This person who has chosen to 'share' this information(that has nothing to do with LIV), but remains nameless, is really showing her TRUE colors. If she felt this information was so important, why didn't she sign her name to the letter.
I would encourage the BOD to continue to do what needs to be done to improve LIV. Your efforts to make changes are good and I for one certainly like that the GM is being questioned about and being held more accountable for his actions. It's a shame the past BOD didn't do this all along.

I understood that those employees only delivered paperwork from management or the BOD, i.e. info for the BOD or checks to be signed.
Now it sounds like the 'security' employees are now 'messengers' and as residents we can call on them to deliver any type of information we want to share with other residents.
Hmmmmm, so if that's the case, when will 'secuity' be patrolling and making LIV safe?
Wow, it's hard to believe these "friends" of our GM would stoop that low. Even if he didn't authorize this delivery....could he be "guilty by association?" What's next? If they can't dig it up....will they make it up? Watch your backs McBride & Hansen.
It's obvious that these "friends" of the GM have nothing better to do than research the BOD's past. That's really sad. Seems like they could utilized their time better.
I am up here in Michigan reading this crap. I am pretty new to all this my neighbor told me about this wonderful place that they go to. Ha I say! I remember being at a meeting when a visitor had placed a note in your sucjestion box. It said something about how unfreindly the place was no one talked to them or asked them to join in on anything. It ended in a laugh from the crowd.. WHO US WE ARE VERY FRIENDLY. Well you all better take a better look at yourselves. You are phony and you think you got a nice place well you do but your not. If those people who hurt other people represent the way you all are my wife and I arent going there no more I can get that right here.
This vicious act goes over the edge!!I can't believe "someone' would stoop as low as this person has. It is time our board president step up and act on behalf of the residents of LIV and the board members who are being attacked by some certain person. Our Gm's attitude stinks. He always has a lame answer when asked questions and it seems the answer is never the same. Was the person that delivered these documents really the head of security?? Do we even have security??
It is time to start acting like adults and work for the good of LIV.
To our new board members, don't give up and let the bullies get the best of you. We need you more that ever!!

What action do I feel should be taken? Dismiss Larry DeMalade immediately. Period!
First of all, Jim's divorce documents should not be used in determining his capabilities of being on the board. Besides, every intelligent person knows that "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". I guess that goes for the woman that passed out Jim's documents, as well. If she's so proud of being a great detective, then I dare her to show her face and take responsibility for digging up personal dirt on people. As far as Larry feigning innocence (or ignorance for that matter) we all know that he's in jeopardy of being dismissed as GM so why would he admit to any wrong doing? He should've been let go a long time ago!
I/m sure if they dig deeper they could find some hardships in EVERY board members life,including thier own.
Why not channel your energy into something positive rather than try to dig up dirt re someones past that is nobodys busines. I think that is stooping very low and the person doing that should be ashamed of herself .
It would seem that the "Sour Grapes" person has no shame. Why did this small group of people pick JP to attack? Was it because he was doing something good for the village and did not agree with the GM? I believe that is the heart of the matter.
JP know that you have many more supporters than the "Sour Grapes".

People, we need to remember that 'Change is inevitable'!
I believe the person who prepared and distributed the printed matter about JP was an evil act. A better behavioral guideline would be the "Golden Rule".
Weigh negative statements and rumors carefully before you pass them on. Just because someone said it doesn't make it true. Accurate and impartial information is vital for understanding any situation.
We are friends and neighbors. It should be possible to have differing opinions with a neighbor without casting asperions on their character. The goal is to remain friends and neighbors.
There doesn't seem to be any doubt as to who the culprit is who distributed those documents, especially when she admits that she is the one.
That action surely is not neighborly.
It would be really nice is people would not 'share' information that is NOT FACT. There is so much talking going on and it's unfortunate most of it is NOT FACT, but someone's opinion about the things. It's amazing what's being said about some of our residents and their goings on.
Can we not just mind our own business? Do we not have anything better to do than 'share stories'?
This happened under the management of ARAMARK, JP should bring a lawsuit against them and the "mysterous lady". Are we really to believe that security does not know who asked them to do this, that any person unknown to them can request the deliver of packets that might contain harmful substances!!!This is outrageous and is clearly grounds for dismissal of all involved and public chastising of the "mystery woman".We should have a search done on all wishing to serve our community as Board members by a licensed, bonded company BEFORE electons NOT piecemeal for issues and retailation. We need to know the idenity of the "mystery lady" so she is NOT allowed to serve in a position of authority in the Village.There are RIGHT and WRONG ways to conduct ourselves and this is clearly WRONG!
The term "lady" certainly does NOT apply to this female! She isn't really a mystery as most everone knows who she is. Just more of the SGG ("Sour Grapes Gang"), that ran and didn't win. JP should consider legal action against her as well as ARAMARK. The mystery female is the one who obtained the court documents on JP's divorce and had them distibuted.
CAN WE NOT GET RID OF LARRY DEMALADE? I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HIS LYING. WE HAVE THE POWER TO ASK FOR HIS TRANSFER. DO IT!

The time has come to get the GM and his wife out. Also, replace Armando. We will not only see better management, but less problems from the SGG. Please, please look into hiring a City Manager.
