I loved todays board meeting! About time someone questioned Armando on his 2 hour completions, Les on the tickets and accounting, Larry on EVERYTHING else! Let's see some action now.
It's nice to have Directors who question what's going on. As an owner, I hope there is going to be some type of evaluation and accountability of the GM.

I've never contributed to a blog which was censored. It's something that I'd expect of Larry or Pat Burke or...Leroy Mulch. It defeats the purpose of a blog. I also don't think that many people write anything on this blog, but I've read a few pro Larry comments,Jan. I guess that owners could start their own blogs and leave it open - like most blogs - your comment appears immediately and you can be answered immediately and go back and forth - it's more interesting. On this blog you need to wait until Master Blog determines if your opinion is worthy to appear in this forum.
I see this question has been asked a few times - but who is the author of this blog? Is it Trudy? Or Joey (who is that?)? Is it all different owners?
WOW! I must say I cannot take any credit for publishing the LIV BLOG. I get the opportunity to comment like everyone else.
To me what the BLOG offers is information . LIKE the 5:o'clock news, do with it as you may. Even newspapers offer a editorial column.
As far as POSTS being screened I I wouldnt want to read anything that had profanity .

Perhaps the majority is in favor of the 3 directors who are being raked over the coals! Maybe that is why no one has commented against them! I know who the author of this blog is and this person would not leave any comment out pro or con! I would sure like to know why we had to pay our lawyer, Ramona Kantack a minimum of 2 hrs. at least at a rate of $100. to $150. an hour to be at that Cowan Property meeting. I bet the whole board did not vote to have her there. I can't see the purpose. Until 75% of our owners vote to let them use our road, we don't need any legal advice on anything Cowan has to say. What a waste of our money! I wonder what we are going to do when we run out of our
budgeted legal fees? I guess that old saying will come in effect,"borrow it from Aramark or Armark will loan us the money until our condo fees come in".

I really would like the owner or LD boss to read what the people have to say! I want them to see the results of the petition also.The GM is not representing ARAMARK in a proper way. And this company is giving us a bad taste in our mouths.
It doesn't matter what company we have its who represents it. Our GM is not the person ARAMARK needs to represent them. In this day I don't believe any business want to loss an account.
Well run businesses don't have this disruptions and dissatisfied people special meetings petitions being sent out throwing people off the board. COME ON WE ARE NOT HAPPY!

control and live in a once paradise. Please be careful what companies you look into. You can negotiate with the present company.What ever you are looking for in a new company write them down and NEGOTIATE!

From looking at the votes, on this blog, as to which directors should be replaced the outcome is very clear. It is NOT the 3 people named in the "sour grapes letter".
Will this nonsense and hate ever end??
I am wondering why they are sending out more letters to people to vote for removal of the three board members when those people have already gotten those letters and have sent them in. Did they not vote the way they wanted them to????
My goodness, why waste the postage on more letters. It's obvious that the new BOD's are doing good things for the park and doing what we elected them for. They are representing the owners. I say to the naysayers, stop acting so childish and immature. You are the ones dividing the park.
The four new BOD members, plus VP Young are trying very hard to make
LIV a better place to live. I applaud them! It is such a shame that certain people are causing all the problems. The BOD needs to remove the GM now. Maybe once that is done our village can start to heal and pull together again. This "sour grapes gang" need to understand they lost in the last election. Give it a rest please!
Regarding our new board members and President, while most owners like the changes to the golf course and the Village as a whole, many of us would like the opportunity to approve things before the board jumps off the deep end doing whatever they want to do. The board is supposed to "represent" the wishes of the owners, not "dictate"!
To an outsider looking in, the new board members wanting to replace Aramark and its employees jobs with themselves appears that those board members must have some personal financial problems and instead of representing the Village, they're actually looking for a job!
I seriously doubt if any of these board members have the knowledge, experience or ability to handle those positions.
In response to the above comment, I didn't here you cry out when the senior and old board members jumped off the deep end to do whatever they wanted to do with the Activity Center, pool area, putt-putt, Rec. Hall and more without the many of us liking the opportunity to approve those things. No, you didn't. Where was our representation then? An outsider would clearly see that a small group of people are bent on throwing as much mud against the wall to see if any sticks, just because they are doing what they said they were going to do before they were elected by the MAJORITY of the owners.
Here's an interesting observation:
When have any of the BOD expressed that "they want to do away with ARAMARK" or "that they want the BOD to manage the park"? Could that be originating from the 'Sour Grapes Gang'?
It's not the management company that's not doing the job, it's the GM and his actions that they are not happy with. It seems that accountability is what the newest memebers of the BOD are striving for. That's a good thing.
Maybe the SGG doesn't care about accountability.
Why not put the newer comments on top?
People PLEASE, don't believe everything you hear. Phone calls are being made to Winter Texans, PLEADING for the votes to recall the 3 BOD's. The info being told is NOT TRUE.
Be smart. Find out the FACTS!
The FACTS are that if the election were held NOW, those three board members would not be elected. There is a "great gulf" fixed between the things that were promised to the voters and the things that are actually taking place. The voters' first clue that there was an agenda should have been that there was a huge surplus of candidates to choose from all of a sudden, when we NORMALLY don't have enough willing candidates to fill the open positions. There might not be enough support to "impeach" the three board members in question, but we will definitely see from the response that there has been a dramatic shift in the amount of support that they have from the residents of the village. Those are the FACTS!
In response to above comment, you need to go back and reread the blogs, I did and there were a lot more in support of our new board members then against.Those are the TRUE FACTS.

The FACTS-They have supported them by not sending in that stupid petition to "impeach" them.
Please tell me that you don't truly believe that these blogs are a true representation of the feelings of the entire village. If you believe that, then there's no WAY you can get a grasp on "TRUE FACTS!"
If indeed there is the feeling that support for the new BODs is shifting, it's due to the people 'pleading' for the recall by sharing nonrelevent materials and untruths about residents in the park.
It's sad that our winter residents believe the callers without checking other sources.

I see the board members are still stumbling around in the dark gnawing at each other. Better give them something else to chew on before they self destruct.
I want to comment on the watering.
I wish someone would call a neighboring golf course or check the web on the correct way to water the grass. When you water in the heat of the day water acts like little tiny magnifying glasses. Such as pool water does in the heat of the day causing a more intense sunburn. It also evaporates faster. Please water late at night or 4 in the AM.
But what do I know I'm only GOD. STOP WASTING MY WATER PLEASE!
