STATUS QUO

I received a letter from LIV saying that there is to be a special meeting of the membership on December 6th. I wonder if this is the same meeting owner Bob Hall asked for and our President approved as an open meeting of the membership, so owners, in Bob Hall’s words, “could have their say” to the board. I’m questioning it because in our November 19th regular board meeting neither the President nor Don Hall stated that their meetings were for the sole purpose of discussing the conduct of the BOD.
Our President did not request specific agendas nor were there any brought up by Bob Hall. This proxy attached to the meeting notification letter which was sent to every Village owner was not asked for by Bob Hall or the President. This notification letter was never shown to the President or most of the directors before distribution.
So who took it upon themselves to manufacture these agenda items 1-4 for this supposedly open now turned selective meeting? Whose idea was it to elect a new chairman (Agenda #2) to replace our Board President? Which unknown individual, (Agenda #4-B) wants to use this meeting to force change in the way things are being done. What group wants (Agenda #4-C) to specifically draft in their own brand of ethics and code of conduct as future guidelines? Finally, who added this proxy? It’s not to elect a chairman, so what is its real purpose? Approved for discussions, who added these agendas that only serve to attack our directors?
I see Leroy R. Mulch’s signature at the bottom of this letter. He along with Reta Priest has pending litigation against six of our directors. Odd as to why these “items to be discussed” appear to be displaying the similar rhetoric that is in their pending lawsuit and in Reta Priest’s failed invalid recall attempt? Are these people who seek to change the original intention of this meeting, the same recall supporters who claim they “speak for the people”. They say they speak for you, me, and all other owners in our Village. Well, they definitely don’t speak for me. Do they you?
This was suppose to be an open meeting and not a continuance of this unsubstantiated recall vendetta and definitely not a prolongation of this unjustified, costly to our Village, lawsuit that was the creation by these two and their friends.
Owners should take a hard look as to what has really been happening here. The truth needs to be told over and over again, until every LIV owner hears and understands that it was the Board President, alone, who decided it was time to put in motion the one and only attempt to replace our GM, not these new directors. After the executive meeting in which our Board President called for, alone, it was decided by the majority that there was enough cause to bring the GM’s issue for his replacement to a motion and vote.
In the end our President was left with having to make a tie breaking vote. He reconsidered his position and opted to give our GM time to improve his performance with agreeing to what many thought was a hollow 90 day evaluation.
Soon after this event it became hard if not impossible at times for this board to conduct normal business functions due to what seemed a flow of confrontational instances levied by Directors Burke and Mulch. For the last six months they also had to cope with this out of order and constant waylay of interruptions caused by a group of rude and unruly owners who are friends with our GM, Burke, Mulch, and Priest. Throw in an invalid recall attempt, a few smear campaigns, and a lawsuit for trying to make our GM accountable for his actions and it’s a wonder any business was done at all. These new board members have persevered through all this and have helped our park when others would have quit.
This notification letter with its questionable agendas is just another attack on these directors and the people of this Village should put a stop to it.

You hit the nail right on the head Joey. I've been to every meeting and it is time to put a stop to this nonsense. These people have done nothing but treat our new directors and others who don't think like the GM's wife with contempt and ridicule that's cost and divided our Village. I'm getting sick of these people who are attacking our directors for making our GM and Aramark accountable for a change.

I understand the meeting has been cancelled. It is obvious who is behind this fiasco, Patricia Burke and LeRoy Mulch.
Dennis Sullivan has stated he knew nothing about the agenda and the proxy that was sent to LIV residents.
I agree with you Joey, people need to really hear and understand all that Martha Dodson, Rick Hansen, Ed McBride, and Jim Peterson have had to deal with since they were elected. I am glad that they have persevered and will continue to support them.

Whether this "special" meeting has been cancelled or not, isn't LeRoy Mulch in violation of the Rule 11 Agreement issued by the court? Certainly a BOD member just can't send out an inflammatory letter of this nature at will without some legal ramifications.

The vitriol coming from Reta Priest, LeRoy and their supporters can not and should not be tolerated.

The rude people who make up the SGG will not be happy until the BOD is made up of only those who agree with them, the GM and his wife. If that happens then there will be absolutely NO ACCOUNTABLITY by the GM and Aramark. If that happens then all of the problems in the past will only be a drop a in the bucket. It will be back to having villagers at the coffees and meeting treated rudely by the BOD. The misinformation from the GM and shoddy work at high prices, without the proper bidding process, will be the rule of the day.

Please fellow villagers beware of this. Ask yourselves why this small group of people is behaving in this manner. What are they hoping to gain?

It is interesting to me that even your biased blog admits the President approved the Dec 6th meeting and now he says he was misinterpreted and there is no meeting. It is clear the board does not want to hear from the Owners-only to force the boards personal agenda

They are hoping to gain control of the Park and to continue to allow no accountability for management.

Beware-there goes our money if that happens.

RE:It is interesting to me that even your biased blog

Interesting that other owners have their say in the coffee with the directors? VP Young gives everyone a chance. Bob Hall said he didn't have a chance in the last one because of the time Warner guy. I recall there were numerous opportunities and especially at the end when VP Young asked three times asked if anyone else had anything to say.
Why don't your bunch of sour grapes hold a debate with the concern citizens of LIV. Have each group bring proof to back up their statements. It would be nice to hear something supported by more than an big fat ego.

I think that:

- The judge who is in charge of the "mess" should be updated on what's going on - a video of the Board meeting along with the latest Leroy Mulch letter would allow him the chance to see, read and hear what the good citizens of LIV are and have been up against.

- Boycott all meetings - without an audience, maybe the BOD can work on one or two problems that need immediate attention. And Aramark management does not need to be at meetings.

- A debate bewtween good and evil would be great! NO BOD members can debate. The subject can be : the pros and cons of Larry DeMalade as manager with proof of each statement mandatory.

I read in one entry that PAt Burke is not an owner - what's up with that? And Les is a relative of some sort to Larry? And what was the outcome with the FBI investigating the so-called email scam, and what about the waste removal reimbursement and the sidewalk to nowhere and the internal audit and the pool problems??? Are these all forgotten already?

Hey, I heard the president say that a meeting was good.
I didn't hear anything about an agenda like the one that was mailed out without anyone's approval.
Just another fine example of dirty politics by PB and LM to serve their own agenda.
I would love to see a debate between the SGG and the BOD.
All that's out there is 'she said, he said'.
Show the residents the proof.

RE: Boycott all meetings

Thats what I said...But forget about the debates. Thats all a waste of time.. What we have to stop is Fueling all the gossip, its a diversion by just a few. When are you going to get the picture. HOW OLD ARE WE?

Its their last performance. who in the heck wants to buy tickets to that.
The BOD are children kicking and stomping their feet They arethe play ground bullies. Turn away!
Go out and find worthy candidates.

IN CLOSING Handing your ballets over to someone else to place your vote is a NO NO.

Some people collect as much as 20 or more proxies to vote as they please.

That can make a SIGNIFICANT difference TO THE rp pb lm of the world.

The groups are already getting in position to collect proxies. You don't have to know who's running. The people collecting the proxies already know who they want. And their friends will support their decision.

Take it to Judge

Our GM has no right to tell one of the owners to "SHUT UP"

Our GM has no right to tell one of the owners to "SHUT UP". He seems to forget that he works for us. i don't think ARA would approve of this kind of treatment.

Holiday time brings parties, gatherings and PO Boxes full of invitations…BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! Some of us have received invites to an OH SO SELECT and
OH SO SECEREAT meeting of the SGG. This will take place December 3rd in the Arts & Crafts room.

The purpose is to plan how to disrupt future Coffees, BOD meetings, plus create general unrest in the village. Of course, the term “creating unrest” isn’t used.

While these people want to keep the GM and his wife it goes far deeper. Their dislike for 5 of the board members (President Sullivan is not included in this 5) runs so deep they can’t see anything else.

Yes, come March we will have a new BOD, but nothing will really change as far as the SGG is concerned UNLESS they win majority of board. If the winners do not
agree with the SGG then it will be the same old S#@%T again. You see a precedence has been set. The last litigation basically worked in their favor.

This madness must stop! One or all of the 5 BOD members must make the court aware of this action by the SGG (among other Agreement 11 infractions). The four new BOD’s plus DY are trying to hold the GM accountable for his actions and how
he spends our money. Certainly this can’t be wrong.

And to think all of this hate, spite and division came about just because PB was not appointed BOD president again. How sad.

BOYCOTT THE MEETING SAT DEC 6!
This meeting sponsored by Zerbe will only be a BASH Directors Dodson, Hansen, McBride, Peterson, and Young for asking questions about the accountability of the GM.

WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM WITH MAKING THE GM ACCOUNTABLE??????????????

The not so secret by invitation only meeting on Wed Dec 3 is a 'get people to run for the BOD and fundraiser' for the SGG.
